This song is from a collection of material that was recorded in the spring of 2019, just over a year after the release of our last LP, “Amerikana” and just under a year before the entire world was abruptly thrown into one of its darkest periods in modern history. To say that the music felt relevant at the time is an understatement, yet, somehow the time was not quite right for its release. Now here we are some seven years later and the songs’ relevance hasn’t faded. Maybe that makes it timeless. Maybe that’s exactly what we intended it to be.
